does anyone know how many teeth are on what ring gears? It has been a while since i dicked around with differents tranny's. So if anyone know how may teeth are on the b16, gsr, ls, if jdm tranny's are different. I tried the faq's but couldn't find anything

 

somebody has to know how many teeth are on what ring gears.

 

I know, Bense knows, others know as well, it has been posted before.

Or you could just do the math....not hard.

 

so here is what I found out. if i'm wrong please correct me.

B16 has 66 teeth/final drive 4.40
GSR has 66 teeth/final drive 4.40
ls has 64 teeth/final drive 4.26

the counter shafts all have 15 teeth on them but are different in diameter size.

LIKE I SAID, IF ANY OF THIS IS WRONG PLEASE CORRECT ME...

^^^^ the issue is that I was givin 3 tranny's dissasembled in a box. tryin to piece them together. kid I got it from thought he knew what he was doing and couldn't figure out how to put them back together. I'm using 1-4 b16, and ls 5th, so I'm using the b16 counter shaft and main shaft and needed to know which ring gear is for the b16 counter shaft. but I already figured it out and it works great. first time nobody on here could help.
