Aloha I have a 2008 accord swapped in a K24A. My stock automatic transmission is broken. What transmission will match the K24A engine?

It's going to be the transmission that matches the PCM.

 

How do I get or find that information?

 

2008 Accord, and revisions, are probably your only option.

 

Sorry what do you mean by revisions? If I go back to automatic what does it mean to match the pcm with trans that I find?

 

The computer, PCM, that runs the engine also runs the transmission as well as interfaces with rest of the car for things like AC, traction control, cruise control, and immobilizer functions.

Being as modern as it is and so highly integrated you are probably limited to just 2008 Accord automatic transmissions.

By revisions I mean Accords of the same generation. I believe in your case is 2008-2012. Those should all be the same parts.

 

Can a 3.0 v6 engine and trans from a 2005 accord fit in my 2008 accord?

 

You would be ahead in time and money to sell the Accord you have an buy a V6 Accord.
