i have been searching on here and google for the past 30 minutes and cant find an answer to this. i have a 97 civic with an lsvtec and gsr trans. messed up the threads on the old axle, no big deal, just buy a new one right? got an integra axle from a friend, too short. just went to oreilly's today and picked up an em1 axle. too short. WTF. so i measure the em1 axle, 23 1/2 inches end to end. i take my old axle with messed up threads, 25 inches end to end. what b series axle is this? its driving me crazy because i need this axle to finish the damn thing. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

If it is the dr side axle u most likely have the wrong half shaft, ie: u you have an automatic axle/half shaft.

 

its the pass side. ive been told orielly's is bad to give out the wrong axle on em1 axles so i bought an integra axle, will try it tomorrow hopefully it works

 

any manual hydro axle should work. if you you have some issues somewhere else...

 

ordered an axle for an integra from oreilly's and it worked, guess they just gave me the wrong axle the first time. this can be closed
