ok so im new to the forums considering i can fix mostly anything on my cars but i find this forum very helpful nd ran into a little problem with my car and was hopeing maybe u guys can hellppp!!! so i have a 96 accord wagon,auto about 152k about a year ago my check engine light came on and the d4 light started blinkin at the same time i ran the code it came back p0720 countershaft speed sensor circuit, the car ran and shifted fine nd speedo still worked but i wanted my light out so i located the outputshaft speed sensor and replaced it soon as i drove light came bak on! so then i figured maybe the sensor was bad i tried another,same thing so then i even replaced other two sensors,light still on! after that i checked wiring harness and plugs no breaks in wires and plugs are clean?! so since my car is 96 and tcu (trans comp) is built into ecu i changed the ecu,light came rite bak on! after that i got fed up and although my tranny worked fine i went nd pulled another tranny with all 3 speed sensors and put it in drove about 3 miles and light still came on!!! uggghh! i have to pass emmisons this month and have to turn check engine light out can any one help? any help would be great... thanks!!!

 

Tranny is slipping, needs rebuilt.

 

thats wat i thought maybe tranny workin fine but is really bad but tranny has been changed neither tranny was slipping they both drove fine and shift fine the chances that i already had a bad tranny that was workin fine then put another bad one in that works fine would be slim to none

ok does anybody kno what the contunuity should be at the sensor and plug? im going nuts
