zc / d16a8 wont start.... i need help!
i got 1993 civic si ( being in australia its got d16a8 1.6 twin cam engine)
my car did start yesterday and suddenly last nite when i was driving for around 20 metres , everything just shut down and it wont start again.
since my car dont start , so far i have replaced :
spark plugs , spark plugs wires , New coil on my dizzy ( Honda workshop did check for a spark on my dizzy and there are plenty of sparks)
main relay is replaced too.
When i try to turn on the ignition , there is no clicking sounds from the relay like it used to be and my check lite is always on which is not right at all , do you guys think it could be my fuel pump problems ?
cause i did try to test if there is any fuel flowing to the injectors by loosing 1 bolt on my fuel filter hose and there is no fuel flow there.
I need help guys!

If your CEL is staying on, find out what codes it's throwing.

This is what should happen when you turn the ign. switch on..
Cluster lights will turn on, including the CEL.
The PGM-FI Main Relay will "click" twice, [1st click is fuel injector relay turning on the 2nd click is the fuel pump relay turning on] the clicks are very close together so it may sound like one click.
At the same time the fuel pump will start priming, [running for a few sec.] you should be able to hear the "hum" from it.
After a few sec. there will be a 3rd click from the PGM-FI Main Relay, [fuel pump relay turning off] the fuel pump will stop priming and the CEL will go out.
If any of this is not happening, there is no fuel.
Problems with the PGM-FI Main Relay are common on older Honda/Acura...

Another thing I would check, if for no other reason then just to eliminate it as the problem, and it can't hurt [also common on older Honda/Acura]
Check the main grounds, batt. post and cable clamp, batt. to chassis ground and chassis to engine ground, DO NOT just eyeball the connections, undo them, clean both contact surfaces and reconnect, making sure the connections are tight. 94
Ok the pgmfi relay is working and fuel is getting to the car and all the ground wires are all clean and grounded but now there's no spark from the engine. Possible ignitor unit or ignition coil? I got the car to start for a second by attaching the battery straight to the starter and touching the starter connector to the battery but it ran for a few seconds. So I'm assuming inside the distributor and possible alternator. How should I check to find out if the distributor is bad?
