wiring d16z6 distributor
Guys don't flame me I did a search before posting but I didn't get any results. I'm looking at putting a d16z6 from a 93 delsol into my 91 CRX SI. So far it seems to be a very easy swap. I can keep my harness and ecu, swap the driver's side motor bracket with the one from my d16a6, and take the temperature sensor from the d16a6 and put it in the rear of the d16z6 block where the screw is. My only question is how do I wire the d16z6 distributor with my crx harness. The instructions that I read states that if I use my intake my wiring harness will work just fine on everything else but it didn't say how to wire the distributor with my harness. Your help is appreciated.

The OBD-1 Z6 distributor will not work with your OBD-0 PM6 ECU. You have two options:
1. Get a conversion harness and a P28 ECU (best all around choice).
2. Modify your A6 distributor to fit the Z6 head.

If I get the harness from the delsol will that work or do I need to just get the conversion harness as you stated. Also, if I go with the harness and ecu should I use the intake from the z6 or the a6. I've read three different things from three different sites and I'm more confused now than before I started researching.

do you mean the intake manifold or the intake pipe with the box. If your talking about the intake manifold, i would go with the one from the z6. If you mean the intake pipe with the box, then use the a6 so it has a perfect fit. The harness from the delsol is no good, even if you go obd-1 and buy the conversion harness. The only good things from that harness are the plugs for the vtec pressure, vtec solenoid, injector plugs with all 8 wires, and the wires for the oxygen sensor with the plug if you go obd-1. Like Jim said, you can go obd-1 or stay obd-0.
