I just installed my wilwood brake kit with the 4 piston calipers using the polymatrix brake pads. I am just wondering if anyone else using these brake pads notice how loud they are or is it just me? Thanks!

 

OMG... these pads are so bloody loud... then again, I was having a wheel clearance problem and the calipers would grind against the inside of the rim under braking.

Other than that, they're slightly squeaky when cold, and goes away when hot. They're hella dusty though! I'm using the PolyMatrix D pads (did you know they were made by Raybestos??? Had I known, I wouldn't have gotten Wilwood pads!)

 

are they that loud, just ordered a set damn. much louder than stock? do they eat the rotors at all? what pads would be good for everyday street driving

 

Whats up. I think i was just over reacting. I broke them in better, and they arent crazy loud as i described before. These pads are amazing. good luck
