Default Will d15 rod bearings fit a d16???

None of the stores can get d16 rod bearings, but advance can get d15's for like $27. honda can order the d16's but i'll have to wait a week and dont have the time to do so. Any suggestions on where to get them??

THanks

I would say no, the D-16's are larger bore, but without eng. #'s I am only 95% sure. I guess that is why they have diff. part #'s.

They might be the same for all d-series 99% sure. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by WAFFLES &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">before you can order bearings for your car, you have to take the motor apart. There is a number on the rod, crank and inside of the block...those numbers tell you what bearings to run...
...Honda has them sorted for blueprinting from the factory</TD></TR></TABLE>
order them from the dealer for that reason. hit up BERT-O he can get them for under $10ea. don't quote me though

Sorry for not being clear, the rod housing bore is larger and the crank is larger for most of the D-16 VS the D15, get the correct parts. The cylinder bores are the same.
