i am putting a new gsr engine in my ls the engines block is rebuilt for turbo when we first started it up it made a loud banging noise and it smelt like **** and then it went away and cameback when the bangin noise stops it doesnt smell anymore either. we didnt do the timing yet that is what alot of my friends are telling me thats probobaly the problem. first we thought the pistons were hitting something but it went away if anybody had this same problem let me know help me out guys thanks
