Default Why the Weapon R intake manifolds are garbage.

I purchased a Weapon R intake to harvest it for its parts, mainly for its head and TB flanges so I can make my own manifold. This is for an engine swap where the stock manifold and this replacement both go over the top of the engine and there is no room, since I’m turbocharging the manifold will be a short runner simple design. Anyways, when I cut this thing open I was very disappointed in what I found. I will almost argue the intake manifold lange was the wrong cut but the port holes are a good 3mm larger than the head and 1.5mm off center, also on the plenum side there is slag poking into the airstream and very brittle so most likely will go through your engine. The only way to really see this is to destroy the manifold which I did.....
