Is it really only necessary for FI or NOS? Thanks.

It's really only necessary once you've brought the motor waaay past it's original design specs. That can be for high-compression NA or FI applications where you HAVE to have the spark when you NEED it or risk detonating your motor!

yeah if you are running 12.1 comp or more i would suggest a hondata or a msd set-up.

what do you mean, msd type ignition? i sit a msd distributer, or something like the 6al, blaster 2, 8.5 wires ect? im in the process of uping my compression to 11.5.1, im running stock ignition system right now, what possibilitys could happed if i run the stock ignition for a little bit till i get the funds to upgrade? thanks
