Ok so I really had no idea where to ask this question so I figured misc would be the best place. On the first one what are those 4 tubes coming off the front of the engine. On the second one what is that big pipe thats in the back left of the engine bay. And what is that purple thing on the turbo? I see pics/builds like this a lot and have no idea what those parts are. Anyways thanks in advance for your knowledge
The first pic, the thing you are asking about is called "individual throttle bodies" and its a mod that replaces your intake manifold with a throttle body and runner for each cylinder, has lots of advantages and disadvantages- read more about if you want. The second picture the purple thing on the turbo is a velocity stack, it shapes the air going into the engine into a more efficient "shape" i guess, and the big pipe sticking out is the exhaust pipe on that particular motor. Looks like a beast setup.
