Default what size fitting to use at the vtec pressure switch location?

engine is a jdm b16a, i have already an 1/8" fitting, could i use that one with the correct AN adapter to an oil pressure gauge? i'm trying to measure oil pressure at the head.

i searched, but a little confused looking for clarification.

between the dist and the upper hose housing there is a galley with a pipe thread allen head plug.
