im pretty sure that crowers use a number 3 as their starting point for plastigauging.
thrust washers are one size fits all......unless somethings wrong

File the bearings down?????!?!!
What the......maybe you should be having somebody who knows what they are doing do this for you.
But if you still want to try.
You start with the middle of the road(green), install, plastiguage and then figure out what size you will need from there.

thinking of buying the acl bearings from camp1320 anyone have bought them from him he said there within spec anyone has bought thme from him let m eknow please
Just buy the ACL's; they're a one-size-fits-all bearing, unless something was majorly wrong w/ your old motor.
To plastigage, just put a strip across the journal, rod/main, torque it down, carefully pull it off, and use the wrapper to measure how tight/loose the clearances are.
The ACL's should spec out to be fine.

how well are these to hold up like a honda bering i hear honda bearings the best u can use but will the acls be a good lasting under extrewme pressures and duty
what is the acl bearing kit part num for the b18c1 block with crower rods what bearing used for the crowers from acl part nums please
look on the bottom of the block, where the oil pan gasket sits, you will see 5 letters, these are the colors of your main bearings. on the crank you should see numbers on the counterweights, these are your rod bearing sizes. i just used honda bearings in a gsr motor i built, amazing. the crank spun with no effort, and the car revs very fast.

Was it your first motor you've built? Because provided you assembled it correctly and it was all in spec, EVERY motor should rotate like that. The quality of the bearings is not determined by how well it turns over by hand.

Im using stock honda bearings in my motor build...
Anyway... now to rant on the noob...
these guys have answered your question more times then I can count, the whole point of plastigauge is to figure out what size bearing you need. there is no "kit" that can be used, the whole point is to measure it and figure it out using a bearing of your choice as a starting point.
Buy a single pair of green bearings (makes one complete bearing) and plastigauge it in each rod... buy new bearings accordingly
The best method is to use ye old dial bore gauge and mic everything out exactly, plastigauge is REALLY sloppy, but usually gets the job done.
Seriously man read what the hell people are writing. The only person who can tell what the hell bearings you need is the one that has the engine ready at hand, aka YOU...
I also do not believe it is a good idea to match bearing halfs aka green/brown on the same journal.
