What size air filter to get?
I have an Injen CAI and also short ram. The filter looks pretty beat up and old. I know they still "work" but thinking about new ones.
Are there any rules or guidelines you use to selecting the right size in terms of amount of media surface the filter has?
Or just base on what would fit?

Doesn't really matter i'm running a 3inch POD on my B16a only really bcomes an issue for size if your running forced induction and need more flow.
