What intake for my car?
I have an EG with a b16 in it. I want to purchase the AEM cold air intake. What intake should I order. A do I need one specific for the b16 like a 99-00 civic si or do I need to get the one that was made for my car even know it was a SOHC. Thanks for all the help.
Don't get the B18C1 GSR.... With the B18C1's "snail manifold" design your intake will be sitting really funky... I would however go with an ITR since they both run the "normal" upwards running runners... They aren't designed like the on for your EG but I personally like the way they duct down better... The CAI meant for an EG drops down through the stock airbox hole and the pipe looks really long... The Integra on the other hand comes down right behind the radiator fan on your EG... That's just what I would do tho... Good Luck
I would go with the 99-00 Si Iceman intake system. It will make more power then aem. No problems with fitting the cold air system. Best hp for $ imo. Good luck.
I forgot to mention that I like the stock airbox the best but that's just me... Even if the Iceman does make more power I would go with the AEM, if any aftermarket intake the AEM and nothing else... It just looks the cleanest besides stock... Again I'm weird and I could really care less about the intake... More power, build the motor... Peace
