Yup what ^ he said...

the A51 is a dead giveaway that the ecu is auto because of the 50 series number.

Been there, but the 5151 or whatever the 5X high part is 1.50 with 500 being bought, I can't afford 500, know any other places to go?

Use the existing 5151's that are already on your Auto P06 ecu, they'll work

Yep. You have two sitting there that you no longer need. You have a 1720 board, so the actual part you have are SI5050s. You Will need to use the 5050s in both IC14 and IC13, and do not install J10. You will get a CEL if you install only one 5050 and install J10.

I don't think so...

You can install the jumper at J10 without a problem.

And so much for people doing research, that is why PGMFI.org is even alive

Generally not with a 5050. It can switch less current than a 5151, and will often cause a random CEL for code 21.

What, are we cutting into potential side $ for you?

He's been to pgmfi, and needed some more assistance. Why don't you contribute something useful, instead of being a dick?

I could honestly care less about the $.. I am just stating that PGMFI.org is there for these questions, kinda like uberdata forum is there for uberdata questions. I am not being a dick, I am just telling you the straight truth. I gave some info, on that ecu if you use the correct transistor, you do not need a jumper.

And don't even tell me I am being a dick, I spend half my day on here answering PMs and phone calls. I believe it is much better to let everyone research and learn these things and how they work. And I believe Mmuller stated the same thing a post below mine, so why not rag on him. haha, j/k

but anyway, for everyone seriously all the information you will ever need is PGMFI.org, the search button is a pain in the ***, but you can get through it. I probably spent a whole week researching before I touched an ecu, and that was a long, long time ago, even before I was a member here.

oh, btw sorry if I sound like a dick, i really don't mean to be.

All is cool, but I was pionting out the statement in your post that has since been edited.

pgmfi.org is the best resouce of info on modifying Honda ECUs, period. However, it would take a new user countless hours, as well as researching through very old posts to discover the info I posted above. Not that research is a bad thing, I was simply trying to prevent the future "I just converted my P06 to P28 specs per pgmfi.org, and now I have a random CEL 21, wtf?" post either here or on pgmfi.org. The pgmfi wiki states that you can use one 5050 or 5151 if you install J10. It will work fine with the single 5151, but his ECU contains 5050s, and I just wanted to save all of the hassle.

ok i understand. My post was edited, because I felt I was being a dick. LoL

But I have never had a problem with the many 1720 boards I have converted with the 5050, never once used two.

I'm still confused about the ECU parts. Are the 5151's on my board or aren't they? I am also sorry to upset anyone; this is the first post where anyone has actually tried to give advice instead of it becoming a dead post that non one cares about. I just want something that’s straight forward that tells me each part needed, where each part goes, etc. I can do the auto to manual easily because the instructions were well laid out on PGMFI.org. But as for the rest of converting it to a P28 without getting any codes thrown and still have a working ECU, that’s another) I need this ECU to work because I traded over $400 worth of OEM stuff to a local yard for it and I can't imagine just giving up. Please, anyone that wants to help e-mail me at pmkell01@hotmai.com or if there is anyone that will do the conversions cheap please do the same, thanks! ~

you need to figure out which ecu board your P06 uses, 1720 or 11F0. Be happy if you have an 11F0 P06 ecu . Easier to convert than a 1720 as already mentioned...

Well I'll probably have 93turbod16 do the conversion and chipping for me, he shot me an awesome deal that I can't pass up, plus he offered to show me the step by step procedure so I can do my own later for myself and friends/family. Thanks also to Katman for helping out majorly..
