What could be causing my radiator to break?
Happened a few times now, once with the stock radiator and then again with a cheap aftermarket one. Im doing a compression check tomorow, but i dont think its the head gasket. Could a bad thermostat have anything to do with it? i cant think of anything else that would affect it.
btw i have a turbo ls

You may want to consider a good radiator, like PWR, or Fluidyne.
It's usually caused by a bad headgasket. Even a small pinhole can increase the pressure beyond the factory limits.

this just happened on my girl's gsr. the fan relay had went out so the fans were not running. it also was prettly low on coolent and overheated once. the radiator blew. replaced it and got the fans working. it seems fine now.
