Default What could be causing my radiator to break?

Happened a few times now, once with the stock radiator and then again with a cheap aftermarket one. Im doing a compression check tomorow, but i dont think its the head gasket. Could a bad thermostat have anything to do with it? i cant think of anything else that would affect it.

btw i have a turbo ls

It's usually caused by a bad headgasket. Even a small pinhole can increase the pressure beyond the factory limits.

You may want to consider a good radiator, like PWR, or Fluidyne.

Definetly get an aftermarket one. The stock ones just plain suck because the ends are made out of plastic.

Are you sure that the rad hose clamp, is clearing the hood when it shuts?
