Okay, my car started making a weird sound when I accelerate hard only in first and second gear. Im not sure how to describe the sound but its a whine kinda similar to the sound the tranny makes when you are going kinda fast in reverse, but much louder and the whines frequency increases with speed. It also is easier to make the sound it I give if I am turning to the right and I accelerate moderatly hard whilr turning. At first I thought it sounded kinda like the tire was rubbing on the inner fender which would make sense because it does it worse when I turn but I looked and all the inner fender seems clear and out of the way. I also question if the wining could be coming from the turbo but I can run the car to redline the car in 3rd gear and it will never do it. My best guess is the tranny or a cv joint maybe? Anybody hear anything like this before or have any guesses? TIA!
