Default Weird ALternator Problem

I was practicing my 1/4 runs late last night and misshifted from 4th to 3rd instead of 5th, motor was OK, I depressed the clutch in time. Afterwards, whenever I would rev above 4500 RPM, the alternator light would come on and everything would get noticeably brighter. Today, after car has sat the night & most of the day, I took it out to see if it would do the same thing. It does but at a higher RPM (~6000)

Any thoughts?
