Default Which way to install check valve????

Simple question guys, i took my check valve for the breaks off my d series, and now i do know which way to install it. How can i tell which way it needs to go??? Common sence tells me it could be a dangerous situation if installed properly no???

The arrow should point away from the brake booster. Towards the intake manifold.

You can verify the valve is OK by using a MityVac or blowing thru it. It's only supposed to flow in the direction of the arrow.
