I have a 94 civic with a b16a swap. I bought the car already swapped, vtec has never worked for me. I've swapped solenoids, tried the JDM 2 wire vtec with a chip (Ended up with limp mode at 5500 instead, normally will rev hit redline, but no vtec) oul pressure is good etc etc, basically I've tried everything.
Did some data logging, (Im not a tuner, just got a bluetooth deal an Tunerview) and appears my ecu (p30) is NOT getting a speed signal. So switched the vss. No change. Speedo works. Tach works. Just ecu isn't seeing that I'm moving apparently.
Planning to go with a CobraRTP on HTS, can I tune out the vss? Or is there a way I can bypass this? Or any ideas on a fix?
One post please... multiple posts comes off as a bit rude and very narcissistic. Have you checked the plug itself ? You should have a ground on one wire, 12v+ on another, and 4 12v+ pulses per VSS revolution on the signal wire going back to the ECU.

How could that POSSIBLY be construed as rude, or narcissistic 🤣🤣🤣 Pull your panties out your crack seriously lol. Two posts, in two separate forums. Like I said in both posts, my speedo and everything works just fine. Vss is working obviously, somewhere between vss and ecu is the problem.
