Venom 400 Performance Module?? Bullshit or The Real Deal??
I've read some reviews about this product, as usual, some were good, some were great, some were bad, and some were horrible. I'm thinking about getting it, but I just wanted to hear some comments from some Honda-Tech people. Anybody ever use this product?? No bullshit, I just want some feedback. Thanks fellas. (and chicks)
I've heard about the gas milage thing. It uses more gas to create a better fuel to air ratio. Many of the reviews I've read all say the same things.
1.) It's easy to install
2.) Gas mileage is horrible with it on
3.) Automatic trannies are adjusted to shift in a higher rpm
Some have said that it's worthless. I want to hear from people on honda tech that have actually used this product, but thatnks for the info received so far.

I said above ^. It sucks I had it for a few months. It raised my 1/4 mile .2. It is totally worthless. Do not buy it. It sucks
Yes but tell us how you REALLY feel about it.
As said before ^ all it does is fool your ecu into thinking you're throttle is open more than it is. Like 20% I believe. Think about it. All it is is a box with 4 wires. How will 4 wires improve performance? You can simulate it's performance for free. If you want 20% more throttle just push down on the pedal on the right 20% more. Or better yet just floor it.
But, let me ask you this. If I were to hook it up to my JRSC would it fool it into thinking I'm at WOT more often? Thus providing boost earlier? Hmmmmmmmm

not worth it. friend with a prelude bought it and gained time on his slip. he was very pissed about how much he spent and instead could have bought a safc and tuned it for 50 more than what he spent.
i don't think that would work since the jrsc sets boost based of the engine rpm, since it's mechanical attached via a belt.
i gained ten hp with mine on 160.1 off 150.3 i have the dyno slips. it is similar to devices that the v8 crowd use to improve throttle response by reducing the time it takes for the engine to ramp up timing and fuel from a stomp. those guys believe in it and so do i. now they will tell you that it is incompatible with the msd ignition . I would also have found a better use for three hundred dollars but i believe it works. and if it saves you a half second you are faster. but i dont doubt that on some combinations it may not help or even add time to your et not all parts work well together.
