Default Valave Job kicked a P0172 Code (is that possible)

I just had a valve adjustment done on my 99 Civic SI at a supposedly proffesional tuner shop. I drive home and on the way CEL comes on. So now I'm thinking I paid $120 for someone to screw up my car. It was a P0172 (System to rick bank 1) also kicked a P01710 (Fuel Trim Malfuntion Bank 1). Is it possible that this valve job kicked these codes. I've been reading up on it and have figured out that valve cleareance can be an issue that creates these code kicks. I've already replaced the PCV Valve, Primary 02, and the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor. Thanks for the input.
