Default VAFC... What is VTEC Unmatch Fuel Correction ?

I've read the pages over and over.... can't figure out exactly what it is...

Can any experienced AFC users/tuners explain it to me, please ?

It adjusts the amount of MAP voltage (fuel) in b/w the Vti and Vto to take away or add fuel in that region b/w where stock VTEC engagement (Vti) and VAFC applied engagement rpm (Vto).

Whether you use Lo -> Hi unmatch adjustment or Hi -> Lo unmatch adjustment depends on whether the Vti is higher or lower than the Vto. See manual for which one you should use for your situation.

I don't quite see where it tells me where to do it ? What if I have the VTi and Vto being the same (stock engagement) should i assume no changes ?

Also it's in a percentage....how do i calculate the figure I would need ?

If the VAFC is set to the stock engagement, the VTi = VTo, so any changes you make wouldn't have any effect. But, in such a case, no changes need to be made.

The changes to the unmount correction would have to be done so that you can measure its its effects....like on a dyno.

I've never had a chance to doing any testing with the VAFC fuel correction, so I don't know how much each percentage point is in AFR points. It's probably pretty linear tho unless the basemaps have odd VE hills/humps or valleys.

in a more simply way of saying it is if ur vtec is higher then stock inbetweem ur old vtec and new vtec point will be rich since or still running on low cam fueling. If u lower ur vtec it u will be running in high cam on low cam fueling. if u raise ur vtec ur will be running low cam on part of ur high cam fueling.

That's kinda what I figured... but how does this work as a percentage (The vtec unmatched correction figure is a percentage) ?

The correction result is as follows:
Air correction factor(*1)=correction factor based on engine RPM and throttle opening (*2)+Unmatch correction factor

H<<L=the VAFC II is at Hi cam (ON), but the ECU only reads Lo cam (Off). use this setting if u lower the stock vtec point.

with the percentage Im going to guess that the car needs 25% more fuel here, so ill try that. otherwise u need a wideband 02 or dyno
