When I removed tint on my windshield, I used a heat gun to start, and then went to work with a can of glass cleaner and a razor blade. I don't know that it would be easy, but it worked for me...

it works but it will scratch off the lines for the rear defrost.use a heat gun n windex.let it sit for alittle.

theres a good write up some where on here where the guy (kid) wrapped the window in a plastic bag... he got the tint off super easy no damage to the defroster.
