Default Uberdata

I have a OBD1 P72 ECU that I am going to chip but Im having problems finding a place to send it off to so that I can get it chipped with Uberdata. I have done a search and could not find the answer. Anyone that can point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Matt

go to http://www.moates.net/ and look around. you can buy the chipping parts there and if you wanted you can also get him to install it. i thhnk he only charges like 25 bucks for install and the parts are only like 15.

http://www.moates.net/index.php?cPath=25_37 go there for the parts you need

http://www.moates.net/index.php?cPath=42 go there for the install service

I'll chip your ecu...you dont need to send it away. I'm in CO as well. if you just buy the chip kit from moates.net I'll chip it for 10 bucks.
pm me if you're interested.

Thanks for the info. Where is Conifer at anyway? I have heard about it before but I have no idea how far away it is from Fort Collins?

Oh and just a quick question. It says once that stuff is installed I will be able to use Uberdata. Is there anything else that I would have to do to get Uberdata to work or if I buy that will Uberdata be installed once everything is put in the ECU?

Sorry, but the wording was a little strange to me.

well tecinally you need someone to burn you a chip.( you could do it yourself but you have to buy a chipburner. you open uberdata, mess with your settings, then burn to the chip, then you put the chip in and your good to go. thats all there is to it. imo i would send it to moates.net to get it chipped unless you trust some random person doing it. i mean moates has his own website so i think he know what he is doing. no offense to integrabuddy

uberdata is a program you download. here is the link http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/down...rsion/
download that and open it up and check it out.

Yea I agree about sending it out and getting it put in by a "professional". Also with the chip burning process, Im guessing I would have to take the chip out everytime I messed with the settings? And because of that Im also guessing the chip is not soldered in with the rest of the equipment? I have no idea at all so that is why I ask.

none taken...I've done quite a few ecu's including p06 vtec conversions, all of which have worked. but by all means...if you feel more comfortable sending it out to moates, do it. they have a great company and I'll always buy my chip kits from them.

yes you need to take the chip out and reburn it unless you have the ostrich, which is also sold on moates.net. the chip kit comes with a zero insert force socket that allows you to take out the eprom with ease.
what's your setup? why are you looking into uberdata?

my friend is actually taking a tuning class up at fort collins for his final credits as a senior...he may be able to help you out with the tuning if you need it.

yep the chip is removeable. what you do is when you tune your car or do whatever to the settings you save it and plug the chip burner in your comp and plug in the chip. then you put the chip in your ecu.

go there to learn about uberdata. it talks alot about burning chips and such.

http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Home/WebHome
go to the libary section it will tell you everything you need to know.

Integrabuddy - Im going to do the convo to OBD1. I just got a hold of a OBD1 ECU though so while my car is still OBD2 im going to send it out and get it done.

My setup right now is a stock B18C1. Im going to go boost on it though. I figure it wont hurt much of anything to get it chipped and maybe even throw the ECU in there while its N/A.

Where does your buddy go to school in Fort Collins? Also I was not doubting your skills at putting that setup together. So dont take it the wrong way, its just hard to trust someone you dont know.
