hey wassup everyone. i drive a 95 civic hatch with a B18C5 jdm swap. i dunno if this has been asked but here goes. i was down at the local races down here in torrance when i see this primered out civic and just thought of it as just some more rice until i heard him rev and heard a pshhhhhh sound at the end. long story short i talked to the guy and he has a 1.5 SOHC turboed civci. the turbo was off a saab from the junk yard. i was just wondering if anyone could help me with the parts/installation with such a mod. thanks.

 

Hey man, i got a turbo from a buddy for 160, its cheep to do a turbo setup these days if you have the knowledge, i suggest you go to www.homemadeturbo.com and read up on stuff, the site is down now but hopefully someone puts it back up pretty soon, also start looking for parts, i have a K03 turbo off an audi or vw, it maxes out at 14psi but i only need half that anyway, its a good turbo.
start saving up and getting junkyard pats, like intercooler, BOV,blow off valve, which is the pshhh sound, and also if your turbo dosnt have a built in wastegate then you will need one of thoes, anyway goodluck.

 

Do a search for "junkyard turbo", "homemade turbo", etc. Or just browse through the forced induction forum. You will find tons.
