Default Tuning Greddy profec B spec II

Hey guys, i've searched the forum about tuning this ebc, and i need more details about it. Its a pain cause im still a noob at boosting.

Firstly, how do i regulate my boost? For example, im aiming at 1bar boost. How do i make sure it boosts at 1bar and not spike? Ive set my boost pressure up, sometimes it goes to 0.9, sometimes up to 1.2 at the same amount of boost pressure! Tried lowering the boost pressure from 5% to 0%, it still acts up the same. Kinda feels like the boost controller is not functioning at all. I need some help in tuning this piece of ****, been playing around with it with no results. And i'm a little confused with GAIN and START BOOST. Would like to know more about them. The manual sucks mr chows nuts.

ok first, please make sure it is hooked up correctly. are you using an external gate? how is it currently connected?

SET - increases boost pessure. 0=wastegate pressure 100=unlimited boost.
GAIN - adjusts consistency. increase it if boost falls off in upper rpm. decrease it if you are spiking or creeping
SET GAIN (start boost) - increases spool time. set it about 2 psi below your target boost pressure (11-12psi in your case)

the rest of the features are optional. technically the start boost function is even optional. i suggest getting your target boost dialed in using only the set and gain functions. then you can increase start boost to help with spool time
