Tuning???
Okay I don't know much about cars, I mean I know enough to get around, add, and fix some things but I have I hear alot about tuning. Um...like what tune things could I do to my car to start with. Anything is welcome. Suggestions or whatever.
First. Find a dyno. Make a base run to see where you're at before you change anything. Keep track of exactly where you start from. I'd advise to only do the following on a dyno so you're not changing things blindly, or possibly damage your ride. With set of adjustable cam gear(s), you can adjust cam timing to get the most that the stocker cam(s) can offer, and alter the power curve. Changing plug gaps can affect power output, particularly on cars with upgraded ignitions or forced induction. With an adjustable fuel regulator, the fuel mixture can be changed, though a computer is more precise. With many of the piggyback computers the fuel curve and VTEC enagement points can be altered & thus tuned for optimal output.
