Hello
just recently did a obd1 b16 swap on my 1998 civic dx hatch. I installed a tucked wire harness along with a tucked sun harness. I went to turn ac to see if it worked and it doesn’t. I’ve seen people say the ac is wired thru the sun harness I have extra cables for something they arnt labeled sadly and I’ve found pai outs saying it is wired thru the sun harness but when I look at my ecu pin out it has ac pin outs also. I am using the original ac system that was in the car for a d16y7.
so my question is where do I wire the ac in. Sun harness or ecu. Or both? Sure as hell hope it’s not the ecu would be a pain.
pin out I’ve been following below
You need to wire the dash button to the compressor to turn it on, and the compressor to the ECU to compensate for the added load. Do you have a DMM? Trace out the flying leads on your harness and match them to the wires on your chassis. AC button comes from C131 and AC clutch goes to ECU. Terminate however you’d like (DT, barrel/shrink, etc)

what’s c131? So are the pin outs I found correct. So I’d do the green plug(sub harness) and the ecu? How does the ecu pin outs work. If the engine harness doesn’t connect to the ac. Or am I doing a pin from ecu to green plug
