is it possible to transfer gears with the mainshaft and countershaft from a cable acctuated tranny to a hydrolic tranny. the spline on the mainshaft is a bigger one from a 92-93 if that matters to anyone.

you can only transfer parts from hydro if its 92-93 cable tranny..... 90-91 wont work

 

so i can transfer everything without removing the gears from the shafts?

 

sure you might have to reshim it tho

well too late but when you say shim do you mean those two washers? i appreciate all the help but i dont know where to research putting cable assemblies in to a hydro so if you could continue to please help me it would be great.

 

do you have a helms manual? thats what you need. it would be the same if you were going hydro to hydro, go dl or buy a manual and u'll be set
