i sometimes have problems putting into 1st when going from a stop. like when im at a stop light and it turns green, i push the clutch all the way and try to shift into 1st. sometimes it wont let me. is there a problem with my syncros? or is this normal? just have to double clutch. let me know. thanks.

 

could be an issue......try putting the car in 1st before coming to a stop (under 5 mpH) and see if you have issues. If not just leave yer foot on teh clutch.

 

thats what i use to do. but a honda mechanic told me i wasnt suppose to do that. that it wears my clutch. i dont see how it dose... but i took his word for it.
anyways. it just does it sometimes. but i notice it. just wondering if its normal.

 

you shouldnt put your clutch in for a long time. I dunno why... i just remember there being a long thread about this. Something about something not meant to hold something for such a long time
