I have an ls tranny(hydro), but the small gear that connects to the diff is destroyed, and 3rd, and 5th gears were poping out during driving. Is it cheaper to find another tranny or can I fix this tranny?

 

When you get to the point of having to replace gears (unless you have a spare tranny that has okay gears to swap in) I would just buy a new tranny... Buying new multiple synchros adds up too... I would just ask around to see what the Y80/S80 hydro LS's are going for... I've never bought a nonVTEC tranny so I'm not sure if they run around the same price as a VTEC one or not... Good Luck
