have a 94 gsr lowerd prolly about 2 in in back and 2 or 2 1/2in in the front. im looking at some 16X7in rim and i was thinking about getting 225 60 16 or 225 50 16 tires would they rub??? i can get the tires for free what do u think i should do??? need help asap

First I believe either of the 225s w/ rub. You can get by w/ 215s w/ minor rubbing depending on wheel offset and ride height, but 225 is pushing it. Secondly the most correct +1 size is 215/45-16(+.7%) or 205/45-16(-.8%). The 225/50-16s would give you a +6% speed error and the 225/60-16s would give you a whopping +13.6% error. Plus the tires are too high a profile won't look that great(IMO) and won't handle all that well.
