so far i have gone through 3 timing belts maybe even 4 but my timing belt is going to go out soon. i have STR cam gears, the 1 gen. has anybody have this problem? timing belts last 2 or 3 months. dont want to buy a toda belt if its just going to be eatten up like the rest. the teeth seem to just strip off. i changed the tensioner but still the same thing happens. need help or suggestions.

look at the cam gears, crank pulley, etc. anything that has teeth. Make sure that everything looks good, not cracked or that theres nothing stuck in the teeth. Make sure that the belt is centered on everything.
