Timing belt cover clearance issues installing ATI superdamper on b18c
Trying to finish up this swap and when installing my ATI damper I realized the alternator pulley is going to be smashing right into the timing belt cover. The pic shows the damper barely sitting on the crankshaft. Is it normal to have to chop up your timing belt cover to accommodate this damper or am I doing something wrong? I searched and couldn't find people with the same problem. Motor is a b18c, I damper is a ati918471 for Honda b series. Thanks for any advice 🙏
