Default Timing Belt broke need help!

Was driving and car died stopped tried to restart it no luck starter just spun. Checked engine saw timing belt was broken. My questions are how do I get the intake came to TDC it is about 90 deg past towards driver, the exhaust is their already. Should I just turn the cam gear counter clock wise until it is TDC? Does this mean anything like valves bent for sure? I am in the process of changing the belt pump and all out know so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

first set the crank to TDC and then move the cam counter clock wise and you should be fine

hey bud I am at work so i can't PM you back. the network prevents me to do it but anyways the Head is good to go just one hole that needs to be retap. all the other ones are good and i have also putin helicoils just in case you over torque them. The vavletrain is actually alreayd fully assembled the dual vavle springs are currently on there and i would prefer to sell it togethere cause i don' thave the tools to get them off right now. I am not sure if you want the cams and gears with it or not but do let meknow. The HEAD once it is retap is 100% good to go everytrhing has been tested. its got brand new exhaust valve guides and the intake side is really good. brand new vavle seals and also a brand new fresh 3 - angle vavle job. the valves have already been lapped and everything so it is def a drop and go and I guarantee you there will be a gain in performance.

Just send me a e-mail and I will reply back to you when i get home or you can PM me and i'll post on here again. I can put up pictures of it if you want too. I prefer to sell the whole head and I think it is very very good pacakge deal. P&P head + dual vavle springs and crower 403's. I am not sure if I listed but currently there are some AEM cam gears on the 403's Not sure if you want them or not. again I do not have a way to get the cam gears off for now so if you want those i can give you a good price on them too. also got a SAFC =o if you want it to help tune it somewhat. the cam gears bolts are stripped so you'll just need to contact AEM to send you the new versions.

Well let me know =op I'll be at work till 5.

I don't really know who did the porting work becausei bought it ported but I don't think its a big namer like Protflow etc probably just some guy that works at the machine shop that worked on it. It is ported for Turbo that is the info I know and like I said I can show you pictures. I think there was a decent amont taken off on the top the floor is about the same. yes you can come pick it up the springs are crower dual vavle springs that they list on their website and they are in good condition and good for high rev or high lift/boost applications. If you want the head withthe head work along cost me about 200 bucks (not including the price for the ported head) brand new exhaust vavle guide put in was about 80 bucks, 3 angle vavle job was about 80 bucks and new valve seals was like 30 bucks. the springs I can do 260 pick up (lowest i can go). that is one hell of a deal =o I am located in central va. i can also ge someone to meet you somewhere in Nova I have a friend that goes there every weekend for church stuff and I am sure he can meet up with you to do the trasnaction. But i prefer you to deal with me directly so if you have any questions you can ask me. But you can look at my history etc I have bought a lot of things and sold some too. ebay account is LODOSSyu just in case if you want to see my ratings. I live in an apartment and I don't have much room ... I just need this thing out of my room .. =o
