timing belt

i plan to replace a timing belt on my civic hb. what i like to know is, do you have to replace the water pump too?

no but you might as well do a tune up kit with all of it, replace the belt tensioner if it has over 100,000 miles as well, water pump wouldnt hurt either.

You don't have to, but it is right there, so you might as well.

Definatly replace the tensioner.
