Throttle body water line plug question
Hi I was just woundering if the water line that goes to the throttle body underneath the the throttle body can be bypassed with a barbed fitting because I have a billet throttle body that dosent have that waterline. I hope that make since i just dont know what that water line called.

I am asking as if it's 5th gen or earlier, it has the FITV that the coolant line is passing through. If you swap throttle bodies to one that doesn't have it, your cold starts will be off as the ECU isn't prepared for managing cold operation via the IACV. That didn't come about until the 6th gen when the FITV was deleted.
No, I believe you are fine. It's my understanding the FITV was deleted by Honda in 96. So you should have the IACV that operates the cold start idle as well as all other idle situations. I suspect that's the purpose of the 3 wire IACV while the OBD1 setup is a 2 wire IACV with a mechanically controlled FITV.
I bypassed running coolant through the intake manifold and it didn't change anything in my b16a. Had it like that for years without problems.
