The spring rate has little to do with the ride after install. It is going to come down to what damper your using and what you have it adjusted to, if it is adjustable.
I have skunk2 coilovers that have 500/400 rates and I think they ride fine with my koni yellows. I have been in other cars that have had the same coilovers with different dampers and they rode like absolute shiz.
I think that you will have an alright ride with 450/350 rates. Another determining factor is what you personally want out of your suspension. Do you want a stock ride with a dropped look, or are you actually an enthusiest that is going to go to the track (autox & road race) and run your car??

There are a lot of people that bitch and complain all the time about their suspension being too stiff, or too bouncy that just lowered their cars because it was the cool thing to do and they end up not liking the end results. Then there are the smarter people, like you, who go and research what they are getting themselves into. Good job.

Later,
BR
