Thinking of jumping on a deal for wheel and tire package.
A guy from a local shop is offering what I think is a good price on 17 inch wheels and tires.
The wheels are 17 inch gunmetal MSR 103 wheels:

And the tires I'm shooting for are Kumho Ectsa Supra 712 tires:

For around $1500 (Canadian! American is about 1050) everything is included including mounting, balancing etc etc and they will paint the calipers for free. I was just wondering how good the wheels and tires are if anyone has had any experience with them, and is it really an ok price? Thanks for all your help!

rim is nice but the tire i don't like have them on my civic and they are just to square of a sidewall and the compound is hard i used to have some nankangs and they were smooth riding tires.
17's are overkill on a Honda in my honest opinion. Even lightweight 17's move the weight balance away from the center of the wheel and hurt acceleration. Not to mention the fact that the taller gearing will slow you down a bit. Also the Kumho 712's don't perform as well as a lot of people would like to think, and they wear out quickly.
i would go for light weight 16" on an integra and pick a better tire......something with less treadwear than 300 so it will accually stick to the ground.......
check ebay for those msr's. my friend just bought some 18's w/o tires for 600 shipped. 17's should be less expensive.

I don't think I want to get into that just yet. I have never used ebay, and don't really want to take the chance.

I would seriously look into it if I were you, you'll save yourself a ton of cash using ebay for certain purchases. You can find those wheels through a reputable seller on ebay for cheap like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...87953, that seller has great feedback too. I won't sit here and lecture you on what I think you should do as far as wheel sizing so I won't get whatever you want, not my car so I don't have to drive it. Hope that helped.
