these are my plans, feedback please :/
ok, i'd like some positive or negative honest opinions here. let me know what you think.
i have a 94 civic ex with b18c1.
right now i have: intake, 2 1/4" piping, hayame muffler, and act XT00
near future mods: motor mount inserts, short shifter, shifter bushings, header & test pipe
short future mods (mid-year): cams (either todaB, crower02, or skunk2), stiffer springs, ti retainers, ss valves, USDM ITR pistons, eagle rods, upgraded fuel and igntion (probably msd igntion and misc. fuel) vafc, skunk2 or mugen chipped ecu and extensive tuning.
toward the end of the year i plan on adding a 50 shot single fogger or 70 shot direct port (if i decide to get je pistons).
of course the spray wont be daily, only on track visits and to play with the occasional ws6 or camaro SS.
well, feedback please
positive or negative.

i rode in a friend of mine's gsr the other day. He has the crower 402's. Man do those thing kick ***! Maybe i'm just used to my fairly stock GSR, but his VTEC pulled sooooooo hard after 6000 rpms. I'm hoping my car will pull somewhat the same when i get my ITR cams in and cam gears dialed in.
ttt, thanks for the opinions guys. anything i should change/add?

if you really have the money i suggest port and polishing your head. Once you're done with everything get your motor blueprinted and balanced so everything can run in sync and your motor will be nice and happy

although balance and blueprint does sound like a valid option since ill be going deep into the motor anyway. thanks!

Are there any plans in the suspension dept? I would definitely put some money there. Even if you decide that you don't want it low or too stiff, a goog set of shocks/struts would be a good idea. If you were going to stay with stock springs I would suggest some adj. ones like Koni yellows. This will also give you something to help out at the track. If stiffness is ok then add in a set of quality springs to match your height requirements. You'll save some labor costs ( if you're paying to have it done) if you do both at the same time instead of possibly doing one now and one later. If you want to go all out then get a set of full coilovers like Tein, Tanabe, H&R, or Zeal. These are all pricey though.
I would not recomend getting the crower cams. Not only do they have a history for breaking, they are developing a rep for BS customer service and tech support.
I would think with any of those cams you are going to need 2.5" exhaust, and not the 2.25".
What header are you contemplating? I would suggest the JDM 4-1, the DC version of the JDM 4-1, or the SMS. Those should cover your different price ranges.
As for the pistons, you will honestly be wasting your time, you have 10.0:1 compression now, the USDM ITR will be 10.88:1 with the GS-R head. If you are changing them, go atleast a point, two would be prefered (JDM ITR, 11.38:1) or an aftermarket like Wiseco.

dont get OEM honda pistons... why would you get non-forged piostons?? Since yer paying the money, get a nice forged set and never worry about them being destroyed... especially since you have NOS in yer future
I'd go with ITR cams over the Crowers. Either that or a JUN2 intake and ITR exhaust combo. 2.5" header and exhaust are also a very good idea.
Pistons, I'd do JDM ITR if you go with OEM's, or something forged with around an 11.5:1 CR.
[edit]Test pipe =
. Get a 2.5" header like dude up above said and a 2.5" Carsound cat to go with 2.5" pipes.
[edit again]Only the first batch of Crowers broke. That problem's been solved long ago. So now they don't break any more. Still don't make good power though.

on the test pipe. it will make a big difference for your top end. i had a Y-pipe actually on my old B18C1 and a field's vtec controller. i hit 13.7's consistant on street slicks.
