Test pipe question. Please help.
I have read a lot of posts about test pipes, and have gotten a lot of good info, but I figured before I put it on, I would ask a few questions. Here is my setup:
95 cx hatch
95 jdm gsr b18c
itr tranny
itr 2.5 exaust piping
greddy pe catback exaust
Do you think It will be worth it to remove the cat, and replace it w/ the test pipe. I have heard that it can make it smell, and that the car will be louder. Is the performance you get from one worth it? Just thought I'd ask before jacking up the car to swap it. Thanks for any help!
btw: this car..umm..will not be..umm...street driven, or anything.

well as a daily driver I would not suggest putting a test pipe on. I have one on my civic but its not my daily driver, there are a few reasons i say this, smell, and the environment. If your anywhere near emission states then I also woudlnt suggest it, we only have emissions in the upper part of our state. If nothing else you could always get a highflow cat, be fairly legal, not smell as bad, and maybe be a happy median for you. From what i remember I dont think the highflows are legal in cali either, someone from cali correct me if Im wrong.
