Default teeth counting for gears? b series

Can you one tell me how to figure out each tranny gear? Need to know how to count the teeth to find out which gear s they are from. I know which gear each is but not what model each came from.

mark a spot using a white grease and count all the teeth all the way around then divide the two by each other (Main Shaft versus Counter Shaft).

Example
Mianshaft = 36 teeth
counteshaft = 24 teeth

Gear ratio = 1.5 so for every 1.5 turns of the mainshaft (your engine input) the output shaft (wheels not takign into accoutn the final drive or differential) will turn 1 time

to figure out the final out put divide 1.5 by the final drive ratio

Example

Gear Ratio = 1.5

Final Drive = 4.4

Final gear ratio = .3409

Wouldn't happen to know how many teeth on each gear for each tranny would you? The reason being I may only have one of the gears.

no becaseu all the gear ratios are pre calcualted you could work backwards to find the appropriate amount start by multiplying by the final drive and then by the other gear that you do have and then you should find the corresponding
