tech question for injectors
i need your help guys...im currently running a 2000 civic si with obd1 ecu and hondata with rc 550cc injectors...im gonna sell the turbo and go back to stock...i was told that when i change the injectors back to stock that i have to get new clips for the stock injectors because the ones i have now wont fit. is this true? can anyone confirm it and tell me how hard it is to switch the clips if needed...thanks.

not necessarily, RC also sells OBD2 injectors so you may already have obd2 injectors to fit stock clip in there.

If you are running RC550's, then you have OBD1 clips and either inline resistor wires or a resistor box.
All of that stuff has to come out to put the stock injectors back in. Who did the work for you?

ok...i called rc and they said that they only have obd 1 clips for the 550cc. i got some obd1 injectors from an integra b/c they are the same as the Si injectors but they dont hook up to the obd 1 clips that i'm currently running (at least rc told me that they were obd1 clips). now i dont know if either the injectors are obd2 with obd 1 clips or the injectors are obd1 with obd 2 clips....is there a way to tell by lookin at the injectors if they are obd1 or obd2? i am gonna run obd 1 injectors so that i dont have to get rid of the resistor box and soder the wires. import builders did the work.

obd1 vs obd0 are different but look similar. the 88-91 clips from hondas can interchange with 92-95 clips ... you most likely need 88-91 or any american plugs from the haltech, dfi, speedpro, etc ... if oyu need just pm me I'll sell you a set, send me pics of the injector themselves
