Default Tech guru challenge!!!

I have an ls/vtec obd2 in a 97 shell and a 98 type R ecu, I only have one code to troubleshoot. The code is 91(not sure of the number) but I do know it is the fuel tank pressure circuit code. Everything I have found out in the last year is, someone told me in 97 Acura did not use fuel tank pressure circuits and the 98 ecu is looking for it, I have tried just plugging one up to the ecu and plugging both sides of the sensor......If someone has a solution or a suggestion to end my year long quest it would be appreciated.

I though they had it, but you can trick an ECU if you can find out the signal it is looking for and make some sort of resistor box to give it the signal it is looking for.

that someone is right, thats the problem and 91 is the pressure circuit code,i guess you would have to find out what the operating voltage range of that sensor because code 91 can be set off either from either too hi or too low of voltage when a dealer scans it with a computer, the computer will tell which side is off(voltage wise)
