Stripped nuts/bolts removal?
sorry if this has been a recent topic here ... i tried a search, but came up negative. Anyways ... I was wondering if anyone knew a good technique/way of removing a stripped nut? I ran into a stripped nut when changing out springs on my struts (94 integra), the right rear nut which holds the strut to the rear quarter panel. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Ryan - who's thinking of going to pep boys tomorrow to see if they could use their air tools to remove my stripped nut from the bolt.

If you can get a hammer in there try puttign the next size down on the bolt and frail away, if you cant, then you might have to cut/drill it out, ohh also try using standard size socket the next size down and beat on it that sometimes works better, watch your fingers
Ohh and next time try not to strip it

got it off w/ the help of my neighbor... it took a combination of using a dremel, vicegrip, "liquid wrench", and a chisel -- it was a bitch.
btw - i didn't strip it ... was the previous owners fault
