stock oil pressure sensor and vtec

does the stock oil pressure sensor have any influence on vtec on gsr engine?

there is another pressure sensor by the vtec solenoid, i know that that determines if vtec is goin to work or not, but how could the other pressure sensor have any effect on vtec?

if the oil pressure sensor does not get pressure, then obviously the vtec pressure sensor wont have pressure= no vtec
its common sense.no oil= no vtec

Are you talking about the oil pressure sensor on the back of the block; the one that turns on the idiot oil light in the cluster? If so, then that has no bearing on VTEC activation. A lot of turbo guys leave it out, as do I.
