Default Square throttle body??

Just wondering, Is there any square throttle body in the market??

As KICKER said(We already know): Square has larger area than Circle.

It wouldn't work. The valves are still round. It would result in too much turbulance between them.

A square throttle body would be a bad idea for a number of reasons. First fo all, it would be hard to make. It is MUCH easier to bore a round hole than cut a square hole. Also, round holes flow better for a given cross sectional area. Square conduits effectively have a smaller area due to boundary layer effects in the corners.

larger areas only increase ability to flow, not velocity of the gas.

not good...
